A few years ago, our founder Miguel Angel Armejo, while traveling through the country’s mountains and jungle looking for the best Peruvian maca crops, arrives at Villa Rica, a small coffee town where after trying several cups of coffee he is amazed and surprised by the different experiences that each cup offered him. His curiosity led him to meet a couple of coffee growers and with them, he began his immersion in the world of coffee.
In this adventure, he understood that thanks to our biodiversity, unique climates, latitudes, and richness of our land, as well as the technology, know-how and good practices in the harvest, post-harvest, and roasting processes, Peru, has the capacity to offer single-origin specialty coffees from its different coffee growing regions. Thus, seeking to value the coffee chain of Peru, we set out to identify families of coffee growers (family farms) from different areas of the country and jointly develop different experiences of specialty coffees with traceability in order to show the world the richness of Peruvian coffee.
